The Unconformity

The Unconformity (formerly Queenstown Heritage and Arts Festival) designs and delivers year-round contemporary cultural outcomes for western Tasmania, headlined by an award-winning biennial arts festival which will next be held in October 2016.

The organisation is governed by a volunteer board of directors who strategically represent a diverse skill-base including tourism, education, the arts, finance, Local Government, the mining sector, and business interests.

The Unconformity's operations are managed by Travis Tiddy, a west coaster who has conducted extensive consultancy work on the Lake Margaret Power Station and international research into tourism concepts for post-industrial communities.

Hydro Tasmania has led clean energy innovation in Australia - building 55 major dams, 30 hydropower stations and two major wind farms. Hydro employs more than 1,100 people, mostly in Tasmania.
